Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat was launched at 17:13 to assist the Falmouth Coastguard Cliff Rescue Team in the recovery of a person stuck on the cliff between Gyllyngvase and Swanpool Beaches.

The casualty was secured by the cliff team and was then lowered down to the rocks below where they were transferred into the Inshore Lifeboat, before being taken to Gyllyngvase Beach and handed into the care of the Coastguard. The Inshore Lifeboat returned to its station where it was made ready for service by 18:06.
