Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat was launched at 15:47 to carry out a medical evacuation of a person who had fallen on the rocks at Carclase Point and was suspected to have broken their leg. The Portscatho Coastguard Cliff Rescue Team and a Paramedic were already on scene.
The Inshore Lifeboat arrived on scene at 15:55 and placed two crew members ashore. The casualty was then transferred on a stretcher to the Inshore Lifeboat accompanied by a paramedic and at 16:18 the Inshore Lifeboat headed up the Carrick Roads towards the King Harry Ferry slipway on the Philleigh side where the casualty was safely transferred to the waiting ambulance.
At 16:40 the Inshore Lifeboat was released to return to its station, where it was back on its slip by 16:55 and refuelled and ready for service by 17:15
