The Inshore Lifeboat launched from her slipway at 11:34 and arrived on scene at 11:37 to find that the dinghy had been righted and was sailing back towards Mylor. Once it was confirmed that no further assistance was required at 12:02 the Inshore Lifeboat was released to return to its station.
The Inshore Lifeboat was recovered onto its slipway at 12:09 where the lifeboat was refuelled and made ready for service by 12:15.
The high performance B14 Sailing Dinghy was well equipped and its occupants were experienced and used to righting the craft. They had been unaware of the concerns for their wellbeing.
