Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat was launched at 16:55 to assist in the recovery of a capsized 6m gaffer which had capsized in the Carrick Roads, East of Mylor. The two occupants had been rescued by a Rigid Inflatable and taken ashore but there were concerns that various craft were trying to recover the boat and that it was a hazard to other vessels. Once on scene the Inshore Lifeboat crew assisted in righting the boat and then bailed it out before the escorting the Mylor Harbour workboat as it towed the boat back to Mylor Harbour.

While helping to secure the vessel to the pontoons the Inshore Lifeboat was tasked at 18:11 to another incident off Nare Point, near the mouth of the Helford River.

Further details to follow shortly.
