Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat was launched 00:06 to assist the single handed skipper of an 11m Gaffer which had dragged its anchor in St Mawes Harbour and had been blown against the harbour wall. The Falmouth Pilot Boat Arrow also proceeded to assist.

Once on scene the Inshore Lifeboat placed a crewmember on-board the vessel and then connected a towline to keep it off the shore. At 00:23 the All Weather Lifeboat was also launched to assist. Once on scene at 00:33 the tow was transferred to the All Weather Lifeboat and the vessel was towed to the shelter of Falmouth Inner Harbour where it was safely placed at anchor at 01:34, both lifeboats then returning to their station.
