Falmouth Offshore Lifeboat was launched at 13:27 to assist the yacht Aurigy which had lost its rudder in a position 2 miles South of Gull Rock, Veryan Bay.

The lifeboat arrived on scene at 13:44 and took the yacht in tow for Falmouth where she was safely moored by 15:00. The lifeboat was then released to return to station.

The Offshore Lifeboat returned to station at 15:10, where it was refuelled and ready for service by 15:26
