Enter Action here...At 16:46 Falmouth Coastguard requested the launch of the ports offshore lifeboat to locate the 36ft motor cruiser "AMERILLA" which was lost in thick fog on the approaches to Falmouth harbour. The lifeboat once clear of the harbour then used its VHF Direction finding equipment to home in on the AMERILLA'S radio signals, locating the vessel at 17:30, 3 miles East of Zone point in Gerrans Bay. The lifeboat then escorted the AMERILLA back to Falmouth where she berthed at Port Pendennis Marina at 18:20. The lifeboat was back at station 18:25, where it was refuelled and ready for service by 18:45 .
