Following the earlier call to standby the 35m Survey Vessel ""Prince Madog"" which had run aground while carrying out survey work off Greatwood, Carrick Roads, Falmouth Offshore Lifeboat was relaunched to standby as the vessel was refloated.

The Offshore Lifeboat left her berth at 13:45 and arrived on scene at 14:00. The Survey Vessel was successfully refloated at 14:30. Once the vessel was clear of the bank and underway the Lifeboat was released to return to station.

The Offshore Lifeboat was back alongside its pontoon berth by 14:50, where it was refuelled and ready for service by 15:00.
