Falmouth Atlantic 75 Class Inshore Lifeboat - RNLB Eve Pank (B756)

At 09:38 Falmouth Coastguard requested that Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat be launched after the motorboat Seascape reported being broken down off Lugo Rock Buoy, near St Mawes Castle.

The Inshore Lifeboat launched from her slipway at 09:45 and arrived on scene at 09:49. The boat, which had one person onboard, was taken in tow back into Falmouth and safely moored at Ponsharden in the Penryn River at 10:32. The inshore lifeboat was then released to return to station.

The Inshore Lifeboat was back on its slipway by 10:55 where it was refuelled, rehoused and was ready for service by 11:10.

The 21ft Motorboat Seascape had been heading for St Mawes when its engine had failed, unable to resolve the situation the single occupant had contacted the Coastguard to request assistance.
