At 12:53 Falmouth Coastguard requested that Falmouth All Weather be launched to assist the 30ft Motor Boat Teaky C, which had fouled its propellers and was disabled 1= miles East of Zone Point.

The All Weather Lifeboat left its berth at 13:02 and having cleared the heavy traffic in the harbour entrance, arrived on scene at 13:23. A crewman was placed onboard the casualty and a towline was passed and the slow tow back to Falmouth commenced at 13:33. The motor boat was taken to the Port Pendennis Marina where she was safely berthed at 14:22.

The All Weather Lifeboat was back alongside its pontoon berth by 14:35, where it was ready for service by 14:54.
