The Inshore Lifeboat was back on its slipway by 22:10 where it was refuelled, rehoused and was ready for service by 22:30. The elderly sailor who lives onboard his yacht had developed severe cramping of his hands which prevented him from helping himself and left him in serve pain. He remained in hospital for a number of days while further tests were carried out and the lifeboat crew wish him a speedy recovery.
