Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat - RNLB Eve Pank (B-756)

At 12:25 as the Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat was approaching Pendennis Point on its way back from a previous tasking, Falmouth Coastguard requested that the Inshore Lifeboat proceed to Swanpool where a Kite Surfer had been reported in difficulties. Falmouth Coastguard Mobile was also tasked to assist.

The Inshore Lifeboat arrived on scene at 12:27 and soon located the Kite Surfer who had got tangled in his own lines. The casualty and his equipment were recovered to the Inshore Lifeboat and were taken back to Gyllyngvase Beach where he was safely landed through the surf at 12:39. The Inshore Lifeboat was then once again released to return to station.

The Inshore Lifeboat was back on its slipway by 12:52 where it was refuelled, rehoused and was ready for service by 13:07.
