Location: 7 miles South East of Dodman Point
Shout Date: 12/10/2004 (All day)

At 20:27 Falmouth Coastguard requested that Falmouth All Weather Lifeboat be launched to assist the 42ft Ketch Tiger Feet, which was becalmed and had suffered engine failure 7 miles South east of Dodman Point. The boat had two people onboard one of whom was suffering from an earlier injury, and with the wind due to increase dramatically during the night, it was decided to provide assistance while the conditions were still favourable.

The All Weather Lifeboat left her berth at 20:36 and arrived on scene at 21:02. A towline was passed to the yacht and the tow back to Falmouth commenced at 21:15. The Tiger Feet was safely berthed alongside the Port Pendennis marina at 00:03, and the Lifeboat was released to return to station.

The All Weather Lifeboat was back alongside its pontoon berth by 00:07, where it was ready for service by 00:22.
