Person in the water off The Prince of Wales Pier

Inshore lifeboat (Launched 01:18 / Returned 01:40) – Claire Angove (Helmsman), Elliot Holman, Jake Ingleby
At 01:11 Falmouth Coastguard requested that Falmouth inshore lifeboat be launched following a report of a person in the water at the Prince of Wales Pier. Falmouth Coastguard Cliff Rescue Team was also tasked along with Police and Ambulance Units.
The inshore lifeboat launched from her slipway at 01:18 and headed up the Inner Harbour arriving on scene off Prince of Wales Pier at 01:22. The lnshore lifeboat quickly located the casualty and she was pulled on board the inshore lifeboat and taken to the pier where she was landed into the care of the Police at 01:26. It was confirmed that there was no one else in the water so at 01:35 the inshore lifeboat was then released to return to its station.
The inshorelLifeboat was recovered onto its slipway at 01:40, being refuelled and ready for service by 01:55.
The 21 year old female had fallen off the pier and when recovered was suffering from mild hypothermia. She was treated at the scene by the Coastguard Team and then Paramedics before being transferred to Treliske Hospital for further checks.
