Falmouth Offshore Lifeboat was launched at 17:39 to go to the assistance of the Fishing Vessel ""Barbican Maid"", which had suffered engine failure 10 miles Southeast of Falmouth.

The Lifeboat arrived alongside the ""Barbican Maid"" at 18:07. The 35ft Fishing Boat with two crew onboard was taken in tow for Falmouth where she was safely berthed at Fal Fish, in Falmouth Docks at 20:00.

The Offshore Lifeboat was back at her berth at 20:10 and was refuelled and ready for service by 20:30.
