At 20:46 Falmouth Coastguard requested that Falmouth Offshore Lifeboat be to assist the 31ft Fishing Vessel ""Bonny Lass"" which had suffered mechanical failure = mile South of Manacle Buoy.

The Offshore Lifeboat left her berth at 20:58 and located the casualty at 21:21. The Fishing Boat was taken in tow, and was safely secured alongside at Custom House Quay at 22:40.

The Fishing Boat had been on passage from Portsmouth to Wales when it had developed mechanical failure.

The Offshore Lifeboat was back alongside its pontoon berth by 22:46, where it was refuelled and ready for service by 22:56.
