Falmouth Atlantic 75 class inshore lifeboat RNLB Eve Pank (B756)

At 19:43 Falmouth Coastguard requested that Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat be launched following reports that a small cabin boat was on the rocks at St Mawes.

The Inshore Lifeboat launched from her slipway at 19:49 and arrived on scene at 19:53. By this time a number of local boats had gone to assist and had towed the vessel off the rocks, so having checked that no further assistance was required the inshore lifeboat was released to return to station at 20:05.

The cabin boat had broken free from its mooring and no one had been onboard at the time.

The Inshore Lifeboat was on its way back to station at 20:10 when it was re-tasked to another incident at St Mawes.
