Boat: All Weather Lifeboat Crew: Alan Barnes (Coxswain), Roger McClarity, Snowy Angove, David Proud, Glen Reed, Phil Rogers, Mark Pollard, Alitair Heane, Marc Thomas Location: ½ South of Pendennis Point, Falmouth Bay Shout Date: 29/09/2001 (All day) Weather:SW 5, Moderate Sea, Good Visibility, Sunny Periods At 15:41 Falmouth Coastguard requested that Falmouth Offshore be launched after the 33ft Motor Boat ""Marie"" reported that she was broken down and drifting in Falmouth Bay. The Boat had three persons onboard and was on passage from Falmouth to the Helford River for Lay-up. The Offshore Lifeboat left her pontoon berth at 15:54. The Lifeboat arrived on scene at 16:05 and took the ""Marie"" in tow. The ""Marie"" was safely placed on a mooring in the Helford River at 17:16, and the Lifeboat was released to return to station. The Offshore Lifeboat was back alongside its pontoon berth by 17:45, where it was refuelled and ready for service by 18:00.
