| Date : Thursday 29th July 1999 Service : Two Children in difficulties Location : Carhays Beach, Veryan Bay Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat was launched at 13:23 to go to the assistance of two children who had been reported in difficulties at Carhays Beach, Veryan Bay. The Coastguard also alerted a Rescue Helicopter from Culdrose and the Portscatho Coastguard Mobile. At 13:28 the two children were reported as safely recovered, and the Inshore Lifeboat and Rescue Helicopter were requested to return to station. The Inshore Lifeboat returned to station, where it was refueled and ready for service by 13:40.
