| Date : Wednesday 28th July 1999 Service : Two Children in difficulties Location : Maenporth Beach, Near Falmouth Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat was launched at 13:03 to go to the assistance of two children who had been reported in difficulties at Maenporth Beach. The Coastguard also alerted a Rescue Helicopter from Culdrose and the Falmouth Coastguard Mobile. At 13:08 the two children were reported to have been safely recovered, and the Inshore Lifeboat and Rescue Helicopter were requested to return to station. The Coastguard Mobile continued to Maenporth Beach to obtain details of the incident. The Inshore Lifeboat returned to station, where it was refueled and ready for service by 13:20.
