| Date : Friday 23rd July 1999 Service : 14 year old lad missing in small punt Location : Falmouth Inner Harbour Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat was launched at 00:25 to assist in the search for a 14 year old lad who had been reported missing in a small punt in Falmouth Inner Harbour. The Inshore Lifeboat was joined by the Pilot Boat "Trelawney", Harbour Launch "Killigrew", Lifeboat Boarding Boat, and two other Pleasure Boats. The two pleasure boats went over to St Mawes to check that area while the other vessels concentrated their search in Inner harbour and Penryn River area. The Inshore Lifeboat used both its Night Sight, Search Light and a number of Parachute Flares to carry out an extensive search accompanied by the Pilot Boat. After the initial search had not located the missing lad the
Offshore The lad was met by the Coastguard Mobile. Once it was confirmed no one else was involved all units were released to return to their bases.
