| Offshore Lifeboat Call Date :Sunday 11th July 1999 Service :Motor Boat "Damazel", run out of fuel Location :5 miles East South East of Zone Point Falmouth
Offshore was launched 18:05 to assist the 51 foot Motor Boat"Damazel" which had
run out of fuel while on its maiden passage. Themotor boat was 5 miles East South East of
Zone Point and had radioedFalmouth Coastguard for assistance.The Offshore Lifeboat arrived
on scene at 18:24 and took the "Damazel"in tow for Falmouth. The motor boat was
safely delivered to FalmouthMarina at 19:35.The Offshore Lifeboat returned to station,
where it was refuelled andready for service by 19:59. |
