At 15:33 Falmouth Coastguard requested that Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat be launched following a report from two people walking near Trelissick House of a boat adrift at Turnaware Bar in the River Fal.

At 14:08 Falmouth Coastguard requested that Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat be launched following a call from the occupant of a small inflatable tender who reported that his oar had broken and he was adrift in Falmouth Inner Harbour.

The Inshore Lifeboat launched from her slipway at 14:13 and located the dinghy and its occupant clinging onto a moored yacht off Customs House Quay at 14:17. The casualty and his dinghy were taken onboard the lifeboat and landed safely at Fishstand Quay at 14:24. The inshore Lifeboat was then released to return to station.

Falmouth All Weather Lifeboat was on exercise in Falmouth Bay when at 11:45 Falmouth Coastguard requested that the lifeboat be tasked following a 999 call from the Dive Boat Bluebottle reporting that one of its divers was missing while diving close to Black Rock at the entrance to Falmouth Harbour. A Rescue Helicopter from RNAS Culdrose, Falmouth Coastguard Mobile and the Pilot Boat Arrow were also tasked to assist. Falmouth Coastguard also made a broadcast to all vessels in the area.

At 05:08 Falmouth Coastguard requested that Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat be launched following a report that a small dinghy had capsized and four of its occupants were believed to be on a yacht 200m off Admirals Quay in Falmouth Inner Harbour. The Falmouth Coastguard Mobile was also tasked.

At 21:16 Falmouth Coastguard requested that Falmouth All Weather Lifeboat be launched following a 999 call reporting a small boat with possibly two people onboard hitting the reef off Gyllyngvase Beach. At 21:22 it was also decided to launch the Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat, as it could not be confirmed if anyone had entered the water. The Falmouth Coastguard Mobile and search team were also tasked.

At 17:05 Falmouth Coastguard requested that Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat be launched following a call from the 26ft Motor Boat Liberty Grace with three people onboard reporting that she had fouled her propeller on a Lobster pot marker and was unable to clear the obstruction.
