The Ilfracombe RNLI inshore lifeboat Deborah Brown II was launched just before 5pm last night (11 August) with a crew of three on board to assist two children who had been cut off by the tide.

The children, on holiday from Bromley, Kent, had been playing on rocks close to Lester Point, Combe Martin, when they became cut off by the incoming tide...
